UPDATE as of 8:10 AM
Due to a water main break the following areas will have an emergency water service interrupted
Queen Street from Carleton Street to Church Street
Prince William Street from First Avenue to Queen Street
Sydney Street from Second Avenue to First Avenue
Estimated time of repair is approximately 5:00 PM
You may experience some water discoloration and fluctuations in water pressure once the service is restored this could affect the entire town.Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

TOWN OF DIGBY
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
By-law # 2025-02 Emergency Management was adopted by Digby Town Council at a regular meeting of Town Council held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday the 1st day of December 2025 at the Town Hall, 147 First Avenue, Digby, Nova Scotia.
The purpose of this By-Law is to establish and maintain a comprehensive Emergency Management Program and to confirm the Municipality of the Town of Digby, the Municipality of the District of Digby, and the Municipality of the District of Clare’s participation in the Digby County Regional Emergency Management Organization (REMO) in accordance with the Emergency Management Act, 1990, c.8, s. 1, 2005, c. 48, s. 1
