TOWN OF DIGBY
NOTICE OF ADOPTION
By-law # 2025-02 Emergency Management was adopted by Digby Town Council at a regular meeting of Town Council held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday the 1st day of December 2025 at the Town Hall, 147 First Avenue, Digby, Nova Scotia.
The purpose of this By-Law is to establish and maintain a comprehensive Emergency Management Program and to confirm the Municipality of the Town of Digby, the Municipality of the District of Digby, and the Municipality of the District of Clare’s participation in the Digby County Regional Emergency Management Organization (REMO) in accordance with the Emergency Management Act, 1990, c.8, s. 1, 2005, c. 48, s. 1
This by-law comes into effect upon the date of the Ministerial approval as required under the Emergency Management Act.
Any person may consult said by-law in the link below or obtain a copy at the Office of the Town Clerk located at 147 First Avenue in Digby from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
